In other news, certain feminist groups apparently adopted Medusa as their emblem/mascot/symbol for wronged women. Makes sense. She was a once a beautiful virgin priestess of Athena; Poseidon then raped her in the temple, and Athena (that bitch) cursed Medusa into the hideous Hollywood-worthy creature that we all know and love today.
